• Education, 1 Jan 1750-1754, Trinity College, Dublin. 4 Cecil Burleigh Crampton, who paid a fixed sum annually, entered Trinity College on January 1, 1749-50, aged 16. His Schoolmaster was Dr. Boyle. Cecil Burleigh Crampton was the son of Archdeacon Philip Crampton. He was recorded as a scholar in 1752 and graduated with a BA (Bachelor of Arts) in spring 1754. No further particulars are known.

The date of January 1, 1749-50 is given as the British Empire changed from the Julian to the Gregorian calendar in 1752. Therefore using the Julian calendar the year was 1749 and using the Gregorian calendar the year was 1750.
